Planned curriculum
The curriculum is being developed around functional communication and everyday participation, with visual teaching and multiple ways for learners to respond.
Visual activities will support recognising common emotions and connecting them with familiar everyday situations.
Calm, structured social stories will use familiar Indian and NRI contexts to explain situations, expectations and possible responses.
Practice for common social routines such as waiting, taking a turn and responding to familiar greetings.
Foundational visual support for understanding behaviour, noticing feelings and learning simple regulation strategies.
Activities designed to accept pointing, signs, picture selection and AAC instead of requiring speech or independent writing.
Life Skills Level 1 currently includes asking for help and identifying Safe People.
