The struggle is real

Sound familiar?

We know how frustrating it can feel.

Parents, therapists and special educators often spend hours searching for resources that are either too basic, too advanced or disconnected from an Indian child’s everyday life.

Even when a worksheet looks suitable, it rarely explains how to teach the skill, how much support to give or what should come next.

01 Planning

Every week starts with another worksheet hunt

You spend Sunday evening searching for material that matches where your child actually is, only to repeat the same process the following week.

Able Marga’s answer A sequenced curriculum with a clear unit-by-unit learning path.
02 Guidance

You found the worksheet—but how do you teach it?

Most printable resources provide an activity without explaining how to introduce it, prompt the learner or gradually reduce support.

Able Marga’s answer Teaching guidance, prompting and prompt-fading instructions.
03 Consistency

Home, therapy and school are teaching different things

A skill practised in one setting may not continue elsewhere when parents, therapists and educators are all using unrelated material.

Able Marga’s answer One shared unit that can continue across home, therapy and school.
04 Progress

You are teaching—but cannot clearly show progress

Without a starting point and a consistent review process, it becomes difficult to explain what the learner has mastered and where support is still needed.

Able Marga’s answer Pre-test, guided teaching and post-test activities in each unit.
The Able Marga approach

A clear path for every learner

Why use a structured curriculum instead of random worksheets?

A worksheet can keep a learner busy. A structured curriculum helps them build skills in the right order, practise consistently and make progress you can actually track.

The story behind Able Marga

Built by a special educator and parent — grounded in real classrooms

Able Marga was born from one mother’s search for a respectful, structured way to help her autistic son learn at his own pace.

After years of trying to work within learning systems that were not designed for the way her son learned, SP saw the same difficulty affecting many other families. Available material was often too academic, disconnected from daily life or dependent on reading and writing skills.

Drawing on her experience as a parent and her years of hands-on work with children and adults with developmental differences, she created Able Marga: calm, practical learning resources that build functional skills one clear step at a time.

I built what I wish I had for my own child. Today, I hope it helps yours too.
