A structured curriculum for special-needs schools

Create a consistent functional-learning system across classrooms, subjects and ability levels—without requiring every teacher to prepare an entirely separate curriculum.

Able Marga offers a structured functional curriculum for special-needs schools in India. Its six-level progression is designed to organise Life Skills, Functional Maths, Functional English and Social Communication across abilities. Level 1 is currently live in three subjects, with future subjects and levels clearly marked as coming soon.

Whole-school consistency

One framework. Different learners. Consistent teaching.

A shared structure helps teachers collaborate, makes student movement between classrooms easier and gives leadership a clearer view of what is being taught.

Build a common curriculum language across the school

Teachers can work from the same subject and level framework while adjusting prompts, visual supports, response methods and pacing for individual IEP goals.

02

Reduce duplicated preparation

Stop requiring every teacher to create similar foundational worksheets independently.

03

Support staff transitions

A recognisable curriculum structure helps new staff understand classroom materials and learner progression.

04

Connect teaching and reporting

Use subject, level, target and prompt data to support clearer progress discussions.

05

Improve home-school carryover

Share consistent teaching language and selected practice instructions with families.

Six-level progression

Organise learning by functional ability—not age alone

The complete framework progresses from early foundation responses toward greater functional independence. Level 1 is live in three subjects; Levels 2–6 remain in development.

Questions from schools

School curriculum and licensing FAQs

Answers about multi-classroom access, progress reporting, bulk pricing, current availability and implementation.

Can our school license this across classrooms?

School-wide or multi-classroom use should be covered by an appropriate school or organisational licence. Contact Able Marga with the number of classrooms, educators and learners so the correct usage arrangement can be discussed.

Purchased files should not be publicly uploaded, resold or shared outside the users covered by the applicable licence.

Does the six-level structure support progress reporting?

The six-level framework can help organise progression by functional ability and provide a shared reference for teachers. Reporting should still use each learner’s individual measurable objectives, accuracy, response method, prompt level and generalisation.

Level 1 is currently available in Life Skills, Functional Maths and Functional English. Levels 2–6 remain in development.

Do you offer school or bulk pricing?

Schools and organisations can contact Able Marga regarding bulk, classroom or site licensing. Pricing depends on the number of users, classrooms, required subjects and intended usage.

Use the contact form and include those details so the enquiry can be assessed accurately.

Are all six levels and four subjects available now?

No. Level 1 is currently live in Life Skills, Functional Maths and Functional English. Social and Communication and Levels 2–6 are marked as coming soon.

Schools can begin with currently available materials and register interest in future releases.

Can different classrooms use the same topic at different levels?

Yes, where suitable materials and licensing are available. Schools can retain a shared subject theme while educators adjust response methods, visual complexity, number of choices, prompt levels and expected independence.

Placement should be based on each learner’s functional skills rather than classroom name or chronological age alone.
