Common questions
Clear answers about Able Marga’s free printable resources for children with autism and other special needs, and how they connect to the Level 1 curriculum.
Yes. All free resources and curriculum samples cost nothing and need no payment or card details. You fill in a short form with your name, email and phone number, and the printable PDF is shown on screen and emailed to you.
Able Marga offers eight free printables: a bath time schedule, classroom schedules, communication boards, a daily routine chart, morning routine charts, picture exchange cards, social stories and visual schedules. There are also four free curriculum samples, one for each Level 1 subject.
They are designed for parents, therapists, special educators and special schools supporting children with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, developmental delay and other special needs. No specialist training is needed to use them.
Yes. Every resource accepts more than one way of responding: pointing, matching, handing over a picture card, gesture, sign, speech or an AAC device. Speech is never required to take part.
Picture exchange cards are printable picture cards a learner hands over, points to or touches to make a request or a choice. PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) is a specific, trademarked teaching protocol with its own training. Able Marga’s cards are general picture communication materials, not official PECS materials, and they do not replace PECS training.
Choose one routine, such as getting ready in the morning. Print the picture steps, put them in order at the learner’s eye level, and point to each step as it happens. Remove or turn over each picture when the step is done. Start with three or four steps and add more once the routine feels familiar.
Free printables are standalone tools, such as visual schedules, routine charts and communication boards, that you can use on their own. Curriculum samples are real pages from the paid Level 1 curriculum, one for each subject, so you can try the teaching format before buying.
A free resource supports one routine or skill. The Level 1 curriculum is a full year of structured teaching: eleven units per subject, pre-checks and post-checks, adult guidance and a clear progression. It is available in Life Skills, Functional Maths, Functional English and Social & Communication, at ₹999 per subject or ₹1,999 for all four. See the curriculum.
Yes. Teachers and therapists can print and use them with the learners they support, at school, in therapy or at home. Please do not resell, reupload or share the files publicly; share the link to this page instead.
Any home or office printer is enough. Picture cards and schedules last longer if you print them on thicker paper or laminate them, so they can be handled, moved and reused every day.
Yes. The resources are digital PDFs you can download anywhere in the world. They use familiar Indian people, foods, routines and settings, which makes them especially useful for NRI families who want learning material that reflects their home life.
