What is Brain Gym Level 2?

Brain Gym Level 2 by Able Marga is a 4-week printable thinking-skills workbook for all children aged 5 to 10. It builds attention, visual perception, memory, sequencing and logical reasoning through short daily pages set in Indian homes, markets and festivals.

Also made for children with special needs. Short, predictable pages with one task each, a progress label on every page and clue-by-clue reasoning make it a strong fit for children with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, learning difficulties or developmental delay. Special educators, therapists and tutors can use it as a ready daily programme.

Why parents choose it

  • 15 minutes a day. Two pages and a 1-minute warm-up, so it fits after school without a fight.
  • Children see their progress. Every page shows where it sits, for example “Pre-writing · 3 of 10”, so your child watches the climb.
  • Control over speed. Pre-writing pages reward the slowest steady line, which builds the pencil control older children often skip.
  • Detective thinking. Week 3 and Week 4 pages use clues to rule things out, the base of logical reasoning.
  • Real-life maths. Rupee shopping with ₹50 at the kirana, number plates and number trains connect thinking to daily life.
  • Indian, everyday content. Rangoli, jalebi, samosa, sabzi carts, kites and tiffin boxes.
  • Answers for grown-ups. Printed upside down at the foot of each page. Check after, not during.

8 skill areas your child practises

  1. Pre-writing and pencil control (rangoli copying, jalebi spirals, dot-to-dot)
  2. Two-hand drawing (mirror drawing with both hands)
  3. Visual search and mazes
  4. Spot the difference (find the twins)
  5. Matching and sorting (fruit or sabzi)
  6. Patterns and sequences (number trains)
  7. Memory (grid memory, look-cover-recall)
  8. Reasoning and logic (logic squares, height clues, clue grids)

Sample pages

Week Page What your child does
1 Copy the Rangoli Copies a rangoli onto empty dots by joining the same dots
1 Sort It Writes F for fruit or S for sabzi in each box
1 Jalebi Spiral Draws to the centre of a spiral without touching the edges
1 Find the Twins Finds the only two kites that are exactly the same
3 Who Is Tallest? Reads clues and orders names from tallest to shortest
3 Snack Square Places samosa, jalebi and one more snack so each row and column has one
4 Kirana Shopping Ticks every item that can be bought with ₹50
4 Tiffin Detective Uses ✓ and ✗ in a clue grid to work out whose tiffin has what

What’s inside

  • 40 daily worksheets across 4 weeks, plus 8 optional extra pages
  • Parent guide with the 15-minute routine
  • Progress label on every page and a weekly tracker
  • Answers printed upside down on each page

How to use it: the 15-minute routine

  1. Warm-up, 1 minute. Trace the latest pre-writing page with a finger, or draw three big sideways eights in the air with each hand.
  2. First page. The lighter one: lines, searching or spotting.
  3. Second page. The thinking one: matching, patterns, memory or logic.
  4. Tick the day. Stop while it is still fun.

Tip: use a pencil, not a pen, so answers can be rubbed out and tried again. When your child is stuck, ask “Which clue have you used? Which one is left?” and wait.

Who it is for

  • Children aged 5 to 10 (UKG to Class 4)
  • Children with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, slow learning or developmental delay working at a Class 1–3 level
  • Parents, special educators, occupational therapists, tutors and homeschoolers
  • Indian and NRI families who want culturally familiar puzzles

Ages 5 to 10 is a wide range. A 5-year-old may need help writing numbers; a 9-year-old may move fast. Both are fine.

Format and delivery

  • Digital PDF, instant download after payment (no physical product is shipped)
  • Prints on A4; use “Fit to page” for US Letter
  • Licence: one family or one classroom

Younger sibling? Brain Gym Level 1 (ages 2–5) runs the same routine in 10 minutes a day, so both children can sit side by side.
