Functional communication for everyday interaction
Social & Communication Skills Level 1 supports real-world interaction using pictures, choices, gestures, speech, signs or AAC. Learners can practise greetings, requests, feelings, WH questions and simple sequences without making speech a prerequisite.
Suitable for: Learners with autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, intellectual disability, developmental delay, and non-verbal or AAC users—placed by current functional ability rather than age.
